Translating

 

Technical translations from/to any world languages are prepared by a specialist in the given area at no extra cost. Once received from the translator, each translation undergoes an “In-house check” at our agency, the goal of which is to check the translation comprehensively. This check mainly focuses on maintenance of the original graphical form and on potential typographical errors. Our team of translators covers various specializations; for instance technicians, doctors, economists, lawyers, artists etc. They have long-term experience and form the basis for our high-quality translations. We prefer direct consultation with the client if highly technical terminology is required. 

Certified translations from/to any world languages are prepared by translators authorized by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic to prepare certified translations and incorporated in the List of Sworn Experts, Interpreters and Translators.
A certified translation is attached to the source text together with the translator’s statement confirming the authenticity of the translation along with a round stamp and the translators signature. Depending on the purpose of the translation and the client’s requirements, a certified translation is either bound together with the original document or with a notarized copy of the document. 

Translations for print are translations specially processed in the DTP studio. They are prepared by a specialist in the given area and proofread by a native speaker (focusing on grammar and style elements). Once proofread, the translation is processed by the graphic designer in the DTP studio, where the text is inset and prepared for graphic processing followed by a pre-print final proofreading. The processed translation is then printed and delivered directly to the customer.

The completion term is extended in proportion to the size (volume of words) of the text to be translated.

 

Prices for Technical Translations

 - These prices are calculated based on the number of words in the source text with a word representing the unit of measure. This price is final. As for a text to be translated that is delivered in its physical form, i.e. as a hard copy the number of words in the source document cannot be determined and thus the price is calculated based on the number of resulting words in the translation.

 - Both a price calculation and potential completion terms will be sent after the document and the required language combination is sent.

 - Flexible prices and bulk discounts are offered.
 



The minimum number of words to be translated is 250. 

The minimum price for a certified translation refers to a different unit i.e. a notarized or physical text page unless the number of characters is higher than 1,800.
